Shipping methods are very important in eCommerce. Shipping is a key point where the customer will experience your product.
Here, we will discuss how to configure the default shipping method in Bagisto.
In Bagisto, there are two types of default shipping methods supported: Free Shipping and Flat rate Shipping.
Shipping Method On Admin Panel
Firstly, log in to Bagisto Admin Panel, then go to Configure >> Sales >> Shipping method as shown below.
1) Free Shipping Method
Free Shipping will increase the customer experience. More of the customer are attracted to the website where free shipping is offered.
Title:- Enter the title which will be displayed on the front end
Description:- Enter the description that will be displayed on the front end
Status: You can enable or disable the status of Free Shipping.
Flat Rate Shipping Method
Flat Rate Shipping is a shipping method where one cost for shipping will be assigned on the per unit/per order of the product.
In this shipping method, there is no effect on product weight and product size.
Title:- Enter the title which will be displayed on the front end
Description:- Enter the description that will be displayed on the front end
Rate:- Set the rate that you want to apply
Type: Select the type per unit/per order so that shipping will be applied to the product based on type.
Status: You can enable or disable the status of Free Shipping
Shipping Method on Front End
Now, the customer will select the shipping method from the front end while checkout process.
