Bagisto latest version 2.4.9 brings a reworked import experience, security fixes, and a long list of UI corrections.
- First, it reworks Data Transfer imports into a single guided run.
- It also makes the admin datagrid consistent and mobile friendly.
- In addition, it adds three-level admin menu support.
- Finally, it fixes search, storefront UI, seed data, and cart issues.

Overall, these changes improve the day-to-day admin experience.
New Features in Bagisto Version 2.4.9
Enhanced Data Transfer Imports
- Saving an import now runs it through to the end on its own.
- In short, validate, fetch images, create, link, and index all happen in one guided run.
- A stepper shows live progress for each phase, so you no longer click through one phase at a time.
- Validation also runs in windows, either in the browser or across the queue workers.
- Therefore, you no longer have to validate a large file in one request.

Flexible Product Image Sources
- Product images can come from links in the sheet, a ZIP you upload with the import, or a directory on your server.
- Bagisto saves the choice on the import, so reopening it restores your selection.
- Before it writes any row, a separate phase fetches each link once.
- Validation then checks your image source against the file.
- As a result, it reports a mismatch during validation instead of silently importing every product without images.

Three-Level Admin Menu
- The admin menu now supports three levels.
- This release also tidies the category and role trees.
- Consequently, deep sections become easier to reach and organize.

Improvements in Bagisto Version 2.4.9
Consistent and Mobile-Friendly Datagrid
- The admin datagrid header now matches between the default grid and the customized ones.
- Customized grids also get a proper card layout on small screens.
- There they drop the column header, because the bar at the foot of the screen already carries filter and sort.
- Similarly, loading placeholders now mirror the grid they stand in for, on both desktop and mobile.
- So the layout no longer shifts when the rows arrive.

Mobile-Friendly Datagrid View

Speculation Rules Off by Default
- Speculation rules now stay off by default.
- Previously, they had the browser fetch pages nobody had opened yet.
- That cost bandwidth and, in addition, showed up as traffic on pages nobody ever visited.
- Instead, a store now opts in.
Other Refinements
- This release also removes the operator selector from multiselect and checkbox conditions on cart rules, because it had no meaning there.
- It replaces the GDPR icon in the admin configuration listing, which previously showed a leaf rather than a shield.
- Finally, it refines the Playwright testcases.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a queued import re-dispatching its whole job chain on every poll, which ran the same rows two or three times over, booked the repeats as updates, and then deadlocked against itself.
- Also fixed imports that could stall for good in the image or create phase, so they now finish what they can and report the batches that did not.
- Fixed the admin product datagrid and storefront search failing when an Elasticsearch index is missing, because those searches now pass ignore_unavailable when they address an index by name.
- Fixed top-left, top-right and the fallback position of the admin dropdown throwing at runtime, and made the fit-toggle option apply to every position rather than only bottom-left.
- Also fixed the WebMCP tool declarations rendering at the foot of every storefront page. Now the whole block stays hidden, while agents still discover the tools exactly as before.
- Fixed the social-login icons sitting flush against the Sign In button on the customer login page.
- Fixed the demo product descriptions showing
\r and \n as text, so the paragraphs finally read as real ones.
- Fixed the session still assigning an inactive cart.
- Fixed assorted storefront UI issues on the product view and sub-category pages, back navigation on the RMA pages on mobile, and the position of the rule buttons on the cart-rule create page.
- Sanitized the product description in the JSON-LD rich-snippet output, which previously emitted it unescaped.
- Fixed the demo products going missing from the storefront when the install locale did not include English, because the seeder wrote non-translatable attributes such as status, visibility, price, SKU, and variant options only on the English pass.
- Fixed product duplication not carrying customizable options, their labels, or their prices over to the copy, so duplication now copies every locale’s label.
This release also includes security fixes.
In short, these fixes improve navigation and prevent broken user journeys.
Conclusion
- Overall, Bagisto v2.4.9 runs faster, stays safer, and feels easier to use.
- It turns product import into a single guided run with flexible image sources.
- It also makes the admin datagrid and menu work better on every screen size.
- In addition, it fixes search, storefront UI, seed data, and cart issues.
- As a result, these updates improve reliability and performance.
- Above all, this release helps store owners run their business smoothly.
